Dr. Ruth Westheimer, born Karola Ruth Siegel on June 4, 1928, in Frankfurt, Germany, is a renowned sex therapist, media personality, and author. After World War II, she moved to Palestine and later to France, where she studied psychology at the Sorbonne. In 1956, she immigrated to the United States and pursued further education, earning a Doctorate of Education from Columbia University.
